It’s been a bit quiet here for the last few days as Geoff and twins have gone on an adventure to France as part of inspired Father’s Day celebrations.
Geoff wanted to take to girls to watch the UK women’s football team play Argentina in the FIFA World Cup take was taking place just across the Channel in Le Havre, France.
Coming together around fire is deeply engrained in our community and ancestral psyche. Women would come together to cook, tell stories, take care of children and elders. Community would come together in the evenings to celebrate or simply honour the seasons, the elements, special occasions.
Well not quite. It’s an area cleared in our bigger orchard paddock to grow a corn maze. Geoff came up with a genius idea of creating this natural playground for kids. He came up with quite a complex maze plan - I am curious to see how long it would take for children to figure out the way to the middle.
